Search is on for Scotlandís most accident prone person
The search is on for Scotland’s most accident prone person, as it was revealed that an accident occurs in Scotland every 30 seconds.
Accident Claims Scotland wants to hear about Scotland’s weird and wacky accidents and to find the nation’s most accident-prone person. The firm is offering the winner exclusive accident protection and a £1,000 prize.
Martin Haggarty, managing director of ACS, Scotland’s premier accident management firm, said: “Our research shows that over 4,000 people go to A&E every day in Scotland, that’s over 170 every hour and two every minute.
“Thankfully not all of these accidents are serious, but some of them are jaw dropping. We want to hear from anyone with an interesting tale to tell.”
The competition will be judged by a panel following the closing deadline on 2 April.
Haggarty added: “The search was inspired by our company’s mascot, Spencer, who embodies everything the competition it about. He’s very accident prone – but also luckily for him, fictional. We’re hoping to hear some very interesting real-life stories and how entrants fought their way back from their accident.”
The research by ACS also found that whiplash remains Scotland’s most common injury in road traffic accidents, closely followed by work-related injuries.
